Default Carrier & Shipping Options

At Rigel Cabinetry, we are committed to delivering your cabinets safely and in excellent condition. Old Dominion Freight Line has been our preferred freight carrier for the past several months, and we have chosen to continue working with them because of their exceptional customer service, careful handling of freight, and consistently low damage rates.

Beginning immediately, Old Dominion will remain the default carrier on all cabinet quotations and orders unless an alternate carrier is specifically requested by the customer.

We understand that freight costs are an important factor in purchasing decisions, and we want to provide flexibility where possible. Customers are welcome to select a different carrier if they prefer to pursue lower freight costs.

Please note that while Rigel Cabinetry is happy to accommodate your carrier preference, Rigel Cabinetry cannot assume responsibility for freight damage, shortages, delays, or service-related issues on shipments transported by any carrier other than Old Dominion Freight Line. Any claims arising from the transportation of the shipment will be the responsibility of the customer and the selected carrier. Regardless of the carrier chosen, our team will continue to package and prepare every order with the same level of care and attention to detail.

In our experience, lower-cost carriers can sometimes result in higher rates of freight damage, longer transit times, and more difficult claims processes. We encourage customers to consider both cost and service quality when selecting a carrier.

If minimizing the risk of freight damage is your top priority, we recommend shipping with Old Dominion. If reducing freight costs is your primary concern, we will gladly work with your preferred carrier whenever possible.
